This page describes how content on this site is researched, written, reviewed and funded. We publish it because a review site earning commission on the product it reviews owes readers full transparency about how it operates.
1. Evidence Sourcing
- Ingredient claims are sourced from primary literature indexed on PubMed — randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews and meta-analyses — and cited with PMID numbers so readers can verify them directly.
- We do not cite other supplement review sites as evidence.
- Where evidence comes from cell-line or animal research rather than human trials, we say so explicitly rather than presenting it as established.
- We state the doses, extracts and plant parts used in cited studies, and note when they differ from what is in the product discussed.
2. Balance and Limitations
- We publish negative and null findings alongside positive ones. Where trial evidence conflicts — as it does for saw palmetto — we present both sides rather than selecting the favorable studies.
- Every product review includes a limitations section. For Prostate 911 that includes the undisclosed 142 mg proprietary blend, the use of nettle leaf rather than root, and the absence of any clinical trial on the finished formula.
- We correct marketing claims we believe are unsupported, including the "353% improvement" figure, prostate-shrinking language, and the inaccurate suggestion that supplement ingredients are FDA-approved.
- We do not make disease claims. Supplements are described as supporting normal function, never as treating, curing or preventing any condition.

Health content is reviewed by Dr. Marcus Reed, MD, a board-certified urologist, for factual accuracy, appropriate caveating and correct representation of the underlying research.
